We believe the site should be accessible to people with disabilities, so that every visitor can use it easily and comfortably.
The site has been made accessible in line with Israeli Standard SI 5568, which is based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines at level AA.
What we have done
- An accessibility toolbar on every page: larger and smaller text, grayscale, high contrast, inverted contrast, light background, highlighted links and a readable font.
- A "skip to main content" link at the top of every page.
- Full keyboard navigation: Tab moves to the next element, Shift+Tab to the previous one, and Enter activates a link or button.
- A logical heading structure, alternative text for images and labels for form fields.
- Layouts that adapt to phones, tablets and desktops, and support for common browsers.
Accessibility of the clinic
The dry eye clinic is at 10 Marconi St., Haifa, and sees patients by appointment only. If you need any accessibility arrangement for getting to the clinic or during your visit, please tell us when you book and we will be glad to help.
